i've seen some of your videos lately and im a player looking to learn udyr, what are some rips you recommend to learn udyr, runeset and build? i've tried tiger pta/conqueror, and ap phase rush but the one i got to towrk the most was phase rush. I usually paly juggernauts so thought udyr would work

Hey, quick question. For Tiger (and phoenix) you max all three abilities without putting a single point in the fourth one. A lot of other udyr players do this. Why? Isn't the utility of having the attack speed steroid from Tiger for Phoenix builds, or the AoE waveclear (especially early game farm) for Tiger make more sense than like an extra 35 shield strength?

I'm an avid watcher of your streams and your guide really helped me understand what runes, items and builds to play Udyr with and his general playstyle when I was a NoobDyr which I'd like to thank you for. Having become an Udyr onetrick myself I decided to make my own guide which I've been working on over the past few days. Your guide encouraged my to try taric jungle. I realised that despite jungle is an in depth topic, the entry threshold isnt very high. Its thanks to your youtube videos!
I imagine that shifting from high elo toplaner to high elo jungler wont be a big afford with such epic learning materials!

Really well written guide you have here MetaSolaray, great for someone new to playing ! The only thing I dislike is how you formatted the "Optimal bans" in the Pre-game section, probably because / are so off and it doesn't look very well but otherwise it looks great! :)

Hey there Fruxo, I do plan to update those sections someday as I think the bans have shifted or at least Olaf is deserving of one to update it. I'll get around to it and make it look prettier. I want people to tell me the GUIDE IS PRETTY (Good quote)

Really well written, especially the runes section. Out of curiosity what items would you recommend for Phoenix Udyr? Specifically:
1. Do you run Cinderhulk or Runic Echoes?
2. Does Phoenix Udyr run the same core (Triforce + Steraks) as Tiger?
3. What are your offensive item options on Phoenix Udyr?

1. I run Cinderhulk mostly on Phoenix builds, on youtube and twitch I'm currently running a Cinderhulk with Liandries combo to make a powerful frontline bruiser Udyr build.
2. Phoenix can run triforce into full tank afterwards but no other ad item. Phoenix excels at using tankier items due to great base damage.
3. Liandries, IBG, Triforce are what I consider your core damage item options. You can go runics but this causes you to be squishy and you don't one shot like other AP item users. My off meta cryo phoenix build has great usage of blue smite with twin shadows & GLP 8000. Grea utility and surprising early game damage.

Saw you lurking my stream for a few minutes, just wanted to say I've watched most of your videos on Youtube and I truly believe you deserve more attention.

Not an item I often build, I might add it into an item page discussion when I have the time. Overall I have more interest in other item builds but zzrot does have a place in a lot of people's heart and builds. A lot of my builds don't favor MS as much as other Udyr Mains.
