In which situations would I get rageblade first?

This guide helped me a lot. I picked up varus because I rarely see him being played in my elo (Gold) and I wanted to try something new. He was super fun to play and I have this build to thank for it. So thank you <3 Also, wouldn't Essence Reaver be ok as last item on him? It feels like his kit would benefit a lot from cdr, and that also puts him at 75% crit (With the ad build)

Thanks for the guide! Although I found Resolve a bot more helpful as a secondary rune. After all, he's rather squishy and slow in the early game.
