Collector was never really worth it over other lethality items.

Do you think top lane Zed is viable in this meta?

Yeah I think top lane Zed has always been quite underrated. It's not as good as mid lane Zed, but not that much worse either. Eclipse or Goredrinker both work fine.

Edit: Another question though, I noticed your runes on the upper part are different from the ones in the guide itself. Which option is the most effective? Also I am guessing presence of mind isn't worth it on Zed?

I have learned a lot from your guides when i first started the game, but i guess i have to downvote this one because of the full build example, someone that doesnt play zed won't really see how much that build lacks CDR, that in my opinion really necessary on zed, you only get 40 cdr ( not including runes of course) late game so there is that ^^

These are literally my stats for the season, I've been playing almost nothing but Zed.

CDR isn't tremendously important on Zed because he's severely gated by energy anyway. I will say though that I'd forgotten to swap Merc Treads for Ionians because Ionians are just super good right now, and I've updated the build for that now, but that's about the only change that can be made to the build in regards to CDR. You don't want to build mediocre items just because they give CDR. Zed is not as CDR dependent as other champions to the point that the existence of CDR alone on an item makes it good on him.

ye guys dont pick sorcery 2ndary runes especially with this build..precision (presence of mind+ coup de grace) is way stronger

Either one is fine, depends if you want a safer lane or more damage throughout the game.

How do you turn the chapter base black?

It's a legacy style option that was for existing guides made before it was changed to the blue background we have currently. You cannot get it anymore if you're making a new guide.
