Any tips for a Sett matchup?

i should update my guide now that i fought a few good setts, yes so when you find yourself fighting sett the best strategy is to stick to him like glue, its an even match at the start but if you can land a q stun you should be able to win the fight, sett is only strong when he lands his haymaker and the only way he gets a good haymaker shot is when his enemy flees the trade, so stick to him and keep kiting around him, once he uses haymaker he will have a big shield but that shield easily decays, so swallow him and let him stay in ur stomach for a bit to let his shield decay.

so summary, kite around sett, keep close to him if your winning, swallow after he misses haymaker to let his shield decay easy.

its not the best demonstration but look at my pantheon vid the second one and skip to 13:40 the first time i fought sett in that game, he also had a decent lead vs his laner.

i believe if your in solo que that is pretty good to get Q lvled up sooner for stronger slow. but if your not in solo que for example maybe your teaming up with a jungler, you can make amazing plays by going to your junglers blue buff area, or tri bush and then ulting them to your lane right behind your enemy laner for an amazing gank.

and if you are ahead and your enemy top laner doesnt have much mobility (example: gangplank, pantheon), lvling R at lvl 6 can help get an extra kill by ulting behind them at max auto attack distance if they pushed a bit too much to your turret, great way to punish your enemy laner for using the fact you backed to base.

so summary:
lvl R at lvl 6 only if you are ahead vs an enemy laner that lacks disengage mobility.

or when you got a jungler qued up with you before the game.

skip to 7:15, pantheon didnt push hard enough to my turret so i didnt ult right then and there, but i did find an opportunity and back away a bit so he wont know what im doing and ulted behind him.

How big of a threat is Vayne top for Tahm?

i can imagine if you get oracle lens, avoid walls, and land your q for that long slow, not so strong against you, id probably use E everytime she is about to hit me 3 times to shield through the true damage stack.

if you do miss Q that is where the problem starts happening she will be able to kite along with you and deal a lot of damage, so hitting those Q's are crucial from a safe distance, if you hit, 3 second slow will be enough to close the gap.

as for first item id definitely get omens, it helps if she builds bork because omens is one of the highest armor item that has HP in the game, it also helps if she switches to crit, the aoe slow also helps against vayne making her useless against you.

what boots do you usually get?

mercury if enemy team has lots of cc and tabi if theres a lot of auto attack based enemies.
if your behind though and your fighting trynd or any other auto attack based enemy in your lane go tabi
