Ayy!! Oh god, it slipped :3 Fixed that, thanks!! So here is the deal with Seraph's Embrace. If you go for it you kinda troll yourself cause it is a scaling item and Ahri is not a scaling champion. With Ahri you aim for early and mid game not late. Such items like Seraph's Embrace are good for champs like Kassadin with massive late spikes and huge mana needs. When built on Ahri you waste gold and inventory space for something that pays off when you will be weak anyways. Especially after the recent nerfs is a big 'no' in my opinion. Ahri is not so mana hungry to make it crucial to invest into mana items. You are a mid game monster you need all the gold in AP items, spikes that will make you hit hard on your opponents like luden's and mejai's or rabadon's. You got no time for mana items. When the mid game starts that is where you thrive, that is where you want all the AP you can get to dominate. But i know what you are talking about, you find yourseld in laning phase running out of mana i guess. That is where Manaflow Band comes to use. I bet that is what made you think about Seraph's Embrace but Ahri's mana costs are decent and if you run out fast then try to not be the spammy dude. Control your resources, turn on "Show mana costs" option and do the math. Use your Q,E strategically when the enemy goes for cs and try not to waste/miss your skillshots. Instead of going for 5 all ins or 5 combos that are 50/50 to land or miss go for 2 100% landing combos and start snowballing. In addition, when shoving to look for roam again you don't need to perma shove it and spend mana like crazy, plan it out. Use 2 Qs (with good timing and some AA in between) -> shove-> roam. Moreover the shield isn't that useful. Yes it can save but it is not worth the process trust me. All in all, you can try it but in my opinion it is not efficient. Stick to the classic AP spikes, control your mana, play it aggressive but also strategically and you will be fine. I hope i was extensive and covered you to the max.
