Hey, I was taking a look at your guide and saw you don't have the Kled matchup listed. Akali is a matchup I face from time to time, but I often win against them since they won't know how to interact with Kled. I'll give you my POV on this matchup, which you could implement however you'd wish :)

As Kled, I want to look to land either my E or Q to successfully trade with Akali, since this reveals her in her W. Without these two spells, I am utterly useless against her. Dodging requires a well-timed E from Akali, preferably to the side, since a backwards E still allows my Q to land.
Akali should look to run Kled down with Q when Kled's E is down, but make sure to hold Akali's E to get out of Kled's Q tether. In my opinion, the biggest mistake Akali players make is not holding their E and end up getting caught by Kled's Q pull.
If Akali ever uses her ult, I should already be dismounted or the first cast should dismount me. Why? Kled's dismounted kit cannot reveal hidden enemies, which makes it (nearly) impossible to remount. This gives Akali W much more value. Additionally, Akali R can easily execute the vulnerable dismounted Kled.
In case Kled ever ults, Akali's W will make her completely invulnerable to the charge, since Kled R cannot hit hidden enemies.

hi! as a guide creator, i was wondering how you did that ombre effect on your words? (looking at your summoner spells chapter) it looks really cool, and i've never seen anyone do that before, it's really impressive :)!

Unfortunately I don't remember who I learned to do the ombre effect from as it was years ago :c From my code it looks like I just straight up individually colored each letter, probably through playing around with hexcodes and just going from darker to lighter shades.

As someone who used to main Akali I wish I saw this back when i used to main her. What an amazing guide brosky and it well deserves that 10/10 rating. Just curious whats your rank since it mentions here your diamond, not that there is anything wrong with being diamond but for a guide to be this extensive and ur diamond. I would be shocked and can only say well done and enjoy the rest of your day

I actually just reached diamond two weeks ago after being hardstuck for years xd though I stopped playing ranked from season 12 till season 15. I've been learning a lot more about the game recently and really want to get better and add more stuff to my guide. Hopefully master next season :D

I have a question. Is assassin/AD akali still viable? i haven't seen it in a while, especially in high elo.

Almost all of Akali's abilities scale with AD so it is technically viable.. but definitely not worth building over AP :D Your R2 only scales with magic damage, you would be sacrificing a lot of burst / one shot potential

got it. akali is a burst champion after all so it makes since. i saw at one point ad was built but ap is very powerful on her. thank you.

I registered on this web-site just to thank you for the guide. Having a lot of fun playing Akali in normal game even though I lose a lot, but who cares what's happening in normal games when I only learn :)

It’s not mentioned in the notes when to take Electrocute or Conqueror.
For the semi-core/core items, it is not exactly clear what their priority is. Both Lich Bane and Rabadon's Deathcap give you extra damage, how do you pick between them? Looking at example builds, Rabadon's Deathcap is your (standard) build finisher and Lich Bane is only build in the elec AP oneshot build. But in the items section you suggest that it is build with Conqueror as well.

After going through your entire guide I basically have only two topics I can whine about: your combo section and the matchup. Combo’s are definitely my favorite part about a champion. I managed to do all of them in a single a single round of practice tool and then it forcibly closed lol.

Trading combo and pre 6 combo: not enough energy for last Q (have to wait a bit)
Post 6 all-in: not enough energy for Q just before R (have to wait)
The R E animation cancel is also considerably harder than I expected. Sometimes E refuses to cast, sometimes it casts too late and in the meanwhile I also have to throw Q somewhere, which ends up being casted too late most of the time.
Full combo: W is used in the clip, but it's not featured in the sequence above the clip. There is also a Q in the combo clip right before the 2nd R, which is not in the sequence either. (Although that one isn’t possible with the current energy costs ;-;)
One shot from China: This combo was by far, the hardest combo for me to pull off. I feel like it deserves a 5 star rating. I'd say harder than the advanced dive combo (which has a 5 star rating). Main reason for this is because the R1 E1 Q combo is very hard for me to execute. It might be my toaster but usually the Q doesn't end up hitting the enemy >.>
Standard dive: Is there any particular reason for using Q - auto after E? Auto - Q feels a bit smoother to me.
Advanced dive: In the advanced dive you take 2 turret shots which is basically the same as the quick dive. Unless you're trying to outplay the enemy by flashing behind them (is certainly a possibility), it doesn't really make a difference.
As for the Lissandra matchup: you cannot stay away from your minion wave and thin it at the same time. Akali’s range is so laughably low that if you step up, Lissandra WILL hit you (and at least a part of the wave). In my experience the main way to 'beat' this matchup is dropping down your shroud and threatening to trade (if the minion wave isn’t too big). If Lissandra decides to stay in it you will outtrade her and if she walks away you can focus on the wave. Her early is very weak and she tends to lose any extended trade and she has a hard time punishing shroud downtime.

Presentation

The first thing I noticed is that the text in about me/champion info (and elsewhere) is aligned on both sides (like, the left side is aligned, but the right side is too). Did this just randomly happen or did you use code for this? If it’s code, what's the code? teach me these dark arts
Small nitpick, at the healing runes some of the rune icons in the text seem to be a little smaller than the others.
The spoilers in the text of the abilities section are a hugging the text. Perhaps you should add a space of like 2-3px between the upper part of the spoiler and the text.
Perhaps not really a constructive feedback point, but my toaster has trouble handling your guide. I basically scrolled through to find that all the GIFs played already :p

I definitely think this guide deserves it’s win in the guide contest. Your guide is definitely part of the top-tier guides on the site, keep it up! :)
This also means that I essentially do not have anything to suggest/add

Cheatsheet

2. I did specify in the 'Standard Conqueror' build example than you can take Lich Bane instead of Zhonyas. There are a lot of other possible builds with Conqueror and Lich Bane, but I chose to highlight just the 3 main Akali builds.

Combos

Unfortunately, yes, since they nerfed Akali's Q energy cost, in a lot of these combos you have to wait a little before having enough energy to Q (rito pls :( ). I'm thinking of either redoing the whole combo section, or maybe just adding a disclaimer, though that's a bit lazy ?
4. I added W to the sequence, though I will redo the clip asap without the extra Q this time :( .
6. Nope, not really. It doesn't really make a difference, although you could say AA - Q is in fact a little smoother.
8. By 'stay away from the minion wave', I meant don't stand in the middle of it (not necessarily far behind it) so she has no way of hitting both you and the minion wave. I also specified that you want to walk up to thin the wave right after she Q's it, so when her Q is on cooldown. I don't know about using your shroud to threaten trades. If the wave isn't too big, then there's no point in thinning it in the first place, and you never want to open up a trade with W (especially since Akali's Q energy cost has been increased, you REALLY need that energy restore from shroud). The only time you'd drop down your shroud to thin the wave is when it's too big, and getting close to your turret. Maybe there's something major I'm missing here, please let me know if that's the case!

Definitely add a disclaimer to the combo's, whether you end up redoing it or not. It depends on how long you expect Q energy cost to stay like this.

You're completely right on the matchup, something is bugging me but I'm not sure what. Maybe it's because the tips give the impression that you kind of have to leave be. I actually think there are cases where you can and should look to fight her, just letting her scale for free will result in you having a terrible time later on.

Also thanks a lot for the text-align, I didn't know that existed :D
