Both can be good against ranged, most resolve runes can help you survive against ranged champions not just aftershock, you don't really have any problems catching them in ranged matchups if you wanna trade unless it's something like Syndra or Ziggs. Predator is more to roam quickly to other lanes to secure kills.

Personally I don't really like playing dark harvest because I can't frontline as well but hard one shotting someone in like 2 abilites is always funny
