I have been looking at a looot of Yuumi guides trying to understand when to stay on my ADC and when to detach, but this is the only one that explains it. Plus, it is oriented towards the enemy supp too, so I can finally get how to behave on my lane.

As a Yuumi main, besides Sona, I'm so intrigued with this guide! Very unique tips and tricks to learn from you and it's so well made! Been playing League for already 2 months now and still pretty much new to everything, but this guide will definitely help me and everyone out! Thank you for making this!! 💕

As for how I designed the matchup part, I'm happy to share how I did it! I had to design and/or upload the images onto Imgur first, but the rest is just simple code. I'll use the section as an example:

Level one, you'll want to be hard poking him with auto-attacks. [[Alistar]] is basically a sitting duck as he has not unlocked his full combo yet. Try to whittle him down as much as possible before he poses threat to you. 

After he reaches level two, do not detach until [[Alistar]] has used all his hard CC. This is an exceptionally harder matchup as [[Alistar]] is one of the few champions whose CC abilities are not only targeted but cannot be blocked by minions. If you detach, he will easily be able to land his combo onto you, leading to a swift death. 

Once [[Alistar]]'s CC is on cooldown, detach immediately to proc your passive [[Bop 'n' Block]] for the shield which will be useful for reducing some incoming damage for your ADC.

Try to whittle the enemy bot lane down from safety using [[prowling projectile]]. This reduces the chances of an engage and can potentially be used to set up kills later on.

Freeze the wave near the turret as [[Alistar]] will be unable to engage onto you or your ADC. Here, you are free to detach and harass with autos. Punish overextension by calling your jungler over to gank. If this doesn't go to plan, play safe and scale into late game.

[spoiler=summoner spells to take]Taking the standard [[exhaust]] and [[ignite]] would be most optimal, especially when paired with an ADC that has an innate dash/escape. This allows you to still hold some kill potential against the enemy bot lane and can be used to set up successful ganks. 

If you want to play extra safe or your ADC is immobile and you are up against a high kill pressure lane (e.g., [[Alistar]] and [[Draven]]), asking your ADC to take [[barrier]] while you take [[heal]] and [[exhaust]] to purely augment your survivability during the laning phase can also work.

I am a yuumi main with 500k mastery almost. I usually take arcane comet and go with ludens tempest if my team is doing really badly so that I can deal more damage and stick on the tank. Maybe worth adding in as a viable option with arcane comet?

In general, always tends to be the stronger option. Unless you decide to go full AP, Riot has previously stated that her win rate drastically fluctuates depending on her rune choices. This also adds up with the data visible on u.gg which shows ’s win rate at 43.51% win rate as opposed to (50.47%).

In my experience playing in high Plat-low Diamond MMR, building more damage actually tends to work better when ahead as opposed to when behind. Because relies more heavily on her team more so than other supports, when the majority of your team is losing very hard, you'll want to be playing more defensively along with them. This also includes building more defensive items. However, if you are massively ahead in lane, purchasing is definitely a solid choice to transfer your lead and carry your feeding teammates come mid-game (I've won games doing this as well). It is also particularly good against enemy comps revolving around a singular hyper carry or many squishy targets. I will definitely look to add this in the guide.

However, if your preferred playstyle is working out for you, please don't let me tell you what you can do and can't do~ There are plenty pros that build and/or regardless of the game state. This guide is simply sharing what works best for the majority of players and myself included.
