i dont play him jngl but mid, but i think ldr is pretty troll. compared to BC/Grudge it just seems inferior unless u are going for an IE build. also bonus true dmg from FS doesn't count as a positive to tanks as it just does 10% of your dmg, so u would first need to do the damage to tank, the rune is probably more effective on squishies than tanks (as pta, conqs are better vs. tanks).

My bad didn't know First Strike was post-mitigation. However the reasoning behind LDR is it interacts the best with core of the build, the idea is to have your dmg frontloaded, with cleaver you can't take advantage of that, also the crits come in clutch a lot of the time. Other reasons is more First Strike pay out + cheapest item out of those 3 options.

if you wanted frontloaded damage why not grudge? ik you said damage but grudge is only 3.2k vs ldr at 3k, only 200gold diff. i mean unless u just want to play around the lucky 20% crit chance. Also the slow on grudge is decent with e/r providing good aoe slow + some extra slow on q is nice too. Also personally i think abt haste as one of pantheon's best stats (other than like raw dmg), your full build only gets 25abt haste from chainsword rn. Also not to mention the giant slayer effect isnt the best, ik u dont actually go any hp except for chainsword so its not too bad depending on the game. Also personally I think frontloaded damage just doesnt scale as well, especially since your build is pretty squishy, enemies start getting GA/zhonyas, adcs start building wits end, etc. But then again i havent tried FS too much either, i used it a few games when it came out and felt pretty awful even when i could proc it easy, will test it out some more.

have u tried a critality build? something like eclipse/dusk --> collector --> ldr -->ie -->ga? You probably could even go a crit mythic for exchange a weaker early.

Latest reply of all time but I like BotRK more as its single item spike instead of needing more crit items. Eclipse is also too valuable to consider a Crit Mythic. The Giant Slayer passive on LDR is generally good but thank god we have Mortal Reminder alternative now. 200g doesn't sound like a lot but there's a lot of times I could barely get LDR from Futures Market. Especially now JG has lost a lot of Gold and XP. As nice as Grudge sounds it doesn't fit what the builds trying to accomplish. Also I can sip some early CDR copium from Eclipse now that its components changed.
