My favorite candy is not actually a candy - we love making Halloween cookies at home. They are simple butter cookies, but we cut the cookie dough with special Halloween-themed forms so we end up with lots of bats, cats, haunted houses and flying witches as cookies. It adds to the festive feeling at home. Of course we keep them for ourselves and dont hand them out as treats xd:)
Had never had a pumpkin pie before meeting my husband, as pumpkins aren't used here where I live. He had me try making one, and it's been my favorite treat ever since. Not really specifically a halloween candy, but I always love making them around this time of year. <3

My fun halloween story:
Halloween was always a big deal in our neighborhood, and we took our costumes very seriously. This year, I was determined to win the "Best Costume" title at our annual block party. I'd spent weeks crafting my homemade astronaut suit, complete with a shiny helmet and silver jumpsuit. I couldn't wait to unveil it.
However, as I made my grand entrance at the party, I quickly realized that my spacesuit might not have been the best idea. The moment I walked through the door, I heard a strange crinkling sound. My costume's shiny silver material, which I thought looked so space-age, was noisy. With every step, it sounded like I was walking on a bag of potato chips.
To make matters worse, my helmet kept fogging up, making it impossible to see where I was going. I bumped into the snack table, knocking over a tower of cookies and sending them flying. My friends rushed to my aid, trying not to laugh too hard.
But my costume mishaps weren't over. I attempted to pick up a slice of pizza, but the shiny gloves on my spacesuit were so slippery that it went flying across the room, narrowly missing another party guest. My friends had to feed me, which turned into a comical sight as they struggled to aim for my helmet's visor.
As the night went on, I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of my costume. It may not have won the "Best Costume" award, but it had certainly won the "Most Comical Costume" title. I had turned into the clumsy astronaut who couldn't eat pizza or see where they were going, and it had become the source of endless laughter.
In the end, the mishaps with my costume made that Halloween one of the most memorable and entertaining ones yet. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best moments are the ones that catch you by surprise and make you laugh until your sides hurt.

aaa I actually don't have recent pics as I haven't made any this year yet. Haven't had time. Made some cute little pumpkin mousse desserts with caramelized pumpkin filling at work recently though. They turned out pretty cute,,

I don't know how funny of a story it is, but in grade 9 all the adults had a problem with my friends and I trick-or-treating because we were too old. I guess I'm glad that I didn't know it was my last Halloween at the time because that might've ruined it, but some people care way too much about giving out candy to teens when they're dressed up and staying out of trouble.
Hey everyone and welcome to our Special Halloween Giveaway! 🎃
Our favourite spooky holiday is finally here and there's no better way to celebrate together than sharing stories and creations, and of course, receiving sweets! Not sweets in our case as we're all over the world and shipping would be tricky, but we've got some RP that's just as sweet for you to enjoy (and it's calories free)!
Some of us don't celebrate Halloween at all and others cannot because of everything that's been going on the past years. That won't stop us from having fun together as a community and enjoying ourselves, as it's a great part of the year that everyone should have the chance to enjoy.
Find out below how to take part in the event, and remember, there is always a reason to celebrate! 😊
We don't want to keep you distracted from your inspiration so we'll be quick about the prizes. There will be 20 winners that will receive a $15 RP Code each. In addition, their replies will be featured on the front page in the winners announcement post.
To spice things up, the winners won't be randomly picked for this event. All the entries will be checked by the MOBAFire Team and we will pick our favourite ones. Before the panic sets in, we will pick the ones that we've enjoyed the most, not the longest or the fanciest or anything like that. It's important to have fun while sharing your stories and creations and we will as well!
If you're not a fan of writing and you prefer sharing your inner artistry, we would also like to see your own Halloween drawings and pumpkin carvings. You create them... and they'll tell their own stories!
Pick your favourite and reply to this post until the 31st of October at 23:59 PM PST. 🕒
Thank you all for being here and we're very excited to see your replies! Please let us know what you think about this community event and our Halloween themed changes, we have more cool ideas planned for you. :)
