I do have a lot of mana problems tear helps a lot, i feel like pom isn't enough even with doran when you really spam W to poke the mage, idk still more testing to do.
i need to try more things but this mid xin thing really works, it needs adjustment in build/matchups and i need to get better.
Yeeah i agree the rageblade hullbreaker is soooo much fun x)
Thanks for the comment i appreciate it, i will test more of shojin vs muramana to test damage diff
I don't think shojin is particularly good on xin either since he is a semi-caster just thought it would be better damage-wise. However, if you miss w then a lot of value is wasted in which case muramana would be better due to the synergy for on hit and ability damage buffs on Q - but then you don't have bonus hp so idk lmao.
Anywayyy, thank you very much for introducing me to this hidden gem! Having tons of fun with it. Feels very similar to warwick mid - I had NO idea how insane xin's healing passive is!!!
I've been doing some testing in practice tool btw, i'm back with the results !
What i did to test muramana and shojin :
- Phase rush 9 adaptive 10% as manaflow band(Fully stacked)
- Level 13 Xin (Max W and Q)
- Dring + BC + swiftness + either muramana OR Shonjin
- THE DUMMY HAS NO ARMOR SO BC passive have no impact, and 2000hp, just for stats.
- Muramana full stack : (216 AD 2421 hp 1986 mana)
aa : 244 (Passive : 343)
W : 479 (Only the range part)
Q : 423
R : 694
- Shojin fully stacked :(186 AD 2871 hp(would have more hp if overgrowth, but didn't took it)1126 mana
aa : 191 (passive : 277)
W : 413 (Only the range part)
Q : 329
R : 660
Muramana feels better on the Q and W, you really do more damage, i didn't test pure dps because i'm not smart enough to give good results off that. but muramana feels good in terms of pure damage, and it gives you infinite mana for lane early (tear into muramana as 3rd item most of the time.)
Shojin feels better in terms of pure hp 450 is a lot, 25 basic ability haste is insane.
but having to stack it is a pain, and doesn't get to the same damage has muramana do, even for Auto attack, shojin gives 45 while muramana gives 35 + 40 + 24 on autos then 80 for spells so Q spell counts.
Conclusion :
There must be errors in my testing but from what i've seen it's either you go shojin for the 450hp 10 ability haste but you have less damage or you go muramana and have more mana for lane and later in the game less hp but more damage.
