It's more or less the same as others, the more we move towards newer sets, the more of the same it begins to feel like. You know? I personally just wanna explore the many fun game modes. Kind of stale, the whole competitive PvP scene. I miss the previous PvEs.

I'm the Teemo guy. Hence, Teemo = My Go To.

Mechanic, not really. It's new, but took away the carousal, hence, a form of game play we have all been accustom to for so long. It's both nice and weird at the same time.

I dont think you really play the fun modes, but if you have been playing choncc's treasure: who is the strongest 3 star 5 cost? And top 5 strongest 3 star 4 costs?

Well I mean, asking which tier (5) is the strongest is a loaded question that can't really be answered. If you get a (3) star, you win. I don't think I have ever seen a game where two players both got tier (5) level 3 and duked it out in a 1v1.

But Ziggs (built properly) and of course I'd pick Fizz. Since. You know. Yordle player. Always liked how he could just backdoor everyone, melting the carries as a tank, then leaping to the next, while also staying full due to the use of BT and support of magic shred for Teemo.

Got him level (3) once, crazy damage, sustain and tankiness :p

Well, I mean, the question of which level (5) is the strongest is a complicated one that can't really be answered. If you get (3) stars, you win. I don't think I've ever seen a game where two players got level (5) 3 levels and competed in a 1v1 fight.
Yes, I agree, a lot depends on the specific game and build - there is no single "strongest" option. But when it all comes together, such combinations really look insanely strong 😄 I've also caught moments like this where the character just doesn't stop 🔥

If you think about it, it's a bit like InteraCasino.com sometimes you put together the "right combination" for a long time, and when it all comes together, you get the same explosion effect - like a winning streak where everything works perfectly. But, like there, it's not always stable, and a lot depends on the circumstances and the moment otherwise it wouldn't be interesting.

But Ziggs (properly assembled) and of course I would go for Fizz. Because, you know, a Yordle player. Always liked how he could just shut everyone down through the backdoor, melting the carry like a tank, then jumping to the next one, all the while staying full with BT and Magic Shred support for Timo.

Got him level (3) once, insane damage, stamina and tankiness :p

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeell in the fun mode, you do get multiple 5 costs. Which is also where I learned that 3 cost veigar beats 10 noxus with 3 star ambessa....

(5) Star is generally an instant win, unless somehow you can pull off a Set... (4?) where you could permanently stun a target, or reduce a targets attack speed to (0). Which is why Veigar won.

Oh and your guess for Ziggs was an excellent one. He was one of the strongest ones. I think maybe Zilean might have won against him, but I never saw those against each other.

Already has been, though not a whole lot has changed outside of the new planner shift and typical change of units. Just gotta wait for the database to update for a few image changes is all.

Can't say I was all that impressed. Ixtal gamble is interesting, but overall I feel like it lacked what previous sets offered.

I like that previous set prismatic traits got changed. However, I feel like this set a lot of the pristmatics are tied to augments. Also, I feel like there should be more clarity about the prismatics instead of them being hidden. I went 10 Ionias only to learn that you need an augement for it to be prismatic. That is just painful

Well, over time TFT will or has begun to stagnate. It's due to quantity over quality. When it was first released, it was fresh, interesting new. But with there having been 16 sets now, it's gotten to the point where we are seeing the same reused assets and playstyles, revamped to be either better or mostly worse, so you're not wrong to blame them.

Set (3)? Frozen Heart (Pyke) spam, during my PBE stints was what Yorick was. Malzahar minions felt like (Past) Zyra and her mage minion multi-casting.

Content gets old over time, you start to see repetition.

After 15 sets, repeats are bound to happen. I find it impressive that they managed to find new things. The unlockebles are definitely a fun concept

SAME. So teach me how to play ixtal pls? Do you go full ixtal? Do you need an emblem? Do you switch out of it after çashing out?

I tend to treat gambling builds like the old Underground (my beloved) set. Though Ixtal is more about having multiple strong hypercarries early on. You want win streaks, unlike my previous devotion to lose streaking with any augment that boosted our HP and sustain.

So, Ixtal is more like you start out and obtain a level (2) Qiyana, followed by Briar. Both really heavy carries if both get slammed with offensive items, since they SLAY 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻.

Then you just need good luck for Neeko and Milio, afterwards a solid front line, like defender Jarvan and so on. You would be looking to win streak until you have to pivot away when you've lost, but I would simply refuse and go until I can not go no more.

Usually I just divert completely using all the offensive items on a front like AD fighting team later on once I've rerolled to level 8 or 9 to focus something like Volibear, though I feel compelled to attempt to do what I did with Underground, dump everything for void. It's fun, but not as fun as it used to be since you gotta win!

I really like that you can unlock extra champions. Also it feels so nice that when you do you get a copy of it the next shop.

Do you have any last minute pro tips for Ao Shins Ascent? I have been on holiday and now I am trying to finish the missions to get the free loot. I am now lvl 50 and finished the summit with lvl 3 Zoe. Any recommendations to finish the other guides as fast as possible. Please I am desperate!!

Sorry for the super late reply, it’s been a hectic million hours with the SNF event going on.

I’m definitely biased here, but I’d personally go with Teemo. His passive makes it easier to hit your 3-star units early, which sets you up nicely to start pushing. Just make sure you're managing your economy properly, it's always the big thing people who are desperate might do.

Try this comp, focusing on Varus an TF

Strategies a level 8 slow level. No rushing with Bastion as the frontline. In terms of the other guides, I'm just a little guy (Teemo fanatic) so, I'd be interested in nobody else XD

The updates to the guide look amazing! You mention carousel priority. How often do you pick the champion instead of the item? Is that mostly for 4/ 5 costs? I have to admit i mostly focus on the item.

Sometimes if the pool is scarce and I need priority over a tier increase to stars, I'll go for units. It's mostly for tier 4/5. Items are usually harder to acquire unless you need something niche like a giants belt, over a recurve bow, since it's so much higher in demand, depending.

But generally, it was alright. Underground playstyle is back. PBE is as unbalanced as ever. But the new PvE game mode was neat. Low effort solo gameplay, bit difficult there as well. The powerups and potential to have up to 5 augments is wild on top of the 100+ powers (x2) will make it crazy.

Feasible or not, I’ve always had the most fun with sets like Underground, chasing maxed out 3-stars, huge gold piles, and unit size boosts. That kind of chaos just makes the game more enjoyable, even if you were to lose more often.

Glad to see that spirit still alive.

Guilty. Back when Underground was a thing I would pour out my gamble right up until the very last second. Problem was it was heavily unbalanced, without all the newer features to help with itemization, so I'd not only have to pick up 3 Unit Max emblems, but also I would have to sell the entire board, put in full void, max out Belveth and other characters in like less than 35 seconds, but it was really satisfying.

I find that revivals are somewhat upsetting, because it usually means they are running out of ideas. Recycling the same old playstyles in a new environment. Annie was nothing to the old-Zyra. Where she would cast 25+ plants and melt everything with burn DoE :<

Sometimes there is a glitch in the augments. You can choose 1 gold or 2 silvers. Assuming the augments themselves are good, which is stronger? 1 gold or 2 silvers?

Depends. Golds are great, but you could find yourself landing on two high value silvers that mesh perfectly with the comp you're currently running. I'd always go gold.

You're welcome! It definitely is a bit overwhelming in terms of power spike. As per usual, it's in need of a few toned down elements. PBE was a bit wild. New hacking mechanic is cool.

I dont have a PBE account. At the end of the season I am generally in a race against the clock to finish the pass on my main account. I dont want to miss out on the free loot. I always feel like I am 3 points down already because i didnt play PBE. I generally go on a massive lose spree when the new set hits.

That's essentially how they keep you hooked on games. Fear of missing out. It does a lot of bad things to your mental health. Shouldn't push for it too hard. PBE is designed mostly for people to abuse bugs, before they get patched and launched onto the public release. You're not missing out on a whole lot, besides a head start really.

Well, I guess it is working. I dont really play ranked anyway, so I dont mind about not having a headstart. I generally catch up quite fast. That being said, this set the champions are quite difficult to recognise

A pretty common thing with shifts, but yeah, I get that. The units are more of a reprint of prior sets, in a good-ish way.

Yes that is true, and at this point it is getting hard to make something new. Some skins just dont look like the champion though, or look too much like another champion
