spell vamp works for the percent vamp you have for a single target ability.
Everything except your ult is either AoE or damage over time, meaning you would get 1/3 effect.
It's ok, but it's not TOO great on Malz.
However, you will heal a ****ton when you ult :P

Morello's is situational. Get it ONLY if you can't acquire blue buff.
Since you should always get blue buff, don't get Morello's :)
It gives OK AP, but with blue buff you get CDR and infinite mana, so you are basically spending 2350 for 75 AP. Keep the Hourglass.
I'm going to give it a run myself on your build later, but wondering your thoughts on taking the Tome instead of Hourglass (so less AP and no active for CDR and MP5) and then taking AP glyphs instead. Theorycrafting they seem fairly equal I think, but you've obviously been playing Malz longer than I have so wanted your thoughts on it.
