While I haven't been playing more than 2-3 months, I've got to say that this new Ryze is one of the best mages I have ever seen in game, and arguably one of the only mage carries in game. I don't really understand how people can say he's NOT a nuker, when a full spell rotation starting with SF and ending with OVL knocks off about 2/4-3/4 of somebody's health.

new ryze is awesome, that tanky aspect helped him a lot, late game he's no longer a squishy first target
