The FMA brotherhood is using the same story as the manga. The first FMA anime didn't use the same story.
I haven't seen the FMA:Brotherhood myself, but the story in the manga is simply magnificent.

Yuu are quite right, I have seen both and was so happy when they were making brotherhood to be in line with the manga, and it is just amazing ^_^

The FMA manga is awesome, its got a nice mix of action and humor without losing anything of value. Not to mention there are times when the characters just seem BA.

Kinda like when Roy finds out the real murderer of his friend.

I've always found One Piece to be one of the better animes that I've watched, but FMA: Brotherhood was just amazing.

Bleach and Naruto are good, but I don't really get into them.

If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid.
