[/quote] swain is only good against melee based team comps, otherwise his damage is severely lowered and his regeneration is worthless even then, why have a mage that has to be in melee range to be effective when you can just.. pick someone else who's safer and not shut down by ignite or any healing reduction>[/quote]

The problem I have with him is that his CC is very, very strong, his early game is very, very strong and he is extremely hard to kill. I don't so much have a problem with his damage output in general as I do with how much utility he has since he has the ability to do a lot of damage.[/quote]

He's cheap, he's a caster, he's good, he's pretty easy, and he's tanky. If you decide you like the tanky caster mentality of Ryze, then you can move on and try out Swain when he's free.[/quote]
