Umm...I think playing her straight AP is far too ridiculously powerful to drop some of it, but I see the free space you are talking about.
Lich Bane would be top priority here.
I think you should build her more AS/AP instead of AD/AP.
Guinsoo's Rageblade and
Nashor's Tooth would both be very helpful. Maybe even
Malady, if you plan on auto-attacking more than usual. As for the rest, I would try to give her as much AP as possible.

Lich Bane would be the only viable auto attacking item you can get on her. The stats are very good for her even if the passive isn't all that.
She's just not made to attack more than once if at all.

She can get plenty auto-attacks in with that epic multiple snare possibility. Although, I doubt the enemy will be alive long enough for all that. Lich Bane wouldn't hurt though.
If you are all for that auto-attacking addition, just get Lich Bane. You will have plenty of time to get that off every couple seconds.

I'm playing Morgana a lot last time and everytime I hit an enemy with my Q spell and placed my W spell at him i autoattacked him for more damage. so I was wondering how an AP/AD Hybrid build would work on her. Have anyone ever tested this?
If so please tell here. I'll just try to build like gunblade, will of ancient, guinsoos now.
