really like the build, practically the same build i used when noc first came out (before guides were posted). of course, virtually all ad carry builds look the same, so i was just taking what i had learned from other champs like ashe, etc.

i actually like laning with nocturne a lot (i suck at jungling anyways :P). i generally have great lane success with him, cuz he can do some good damage pretty quickly provided the enemy isnt to tanky. in lane, i generally use paranoia as a tower diving tool, or for ganking (someone elses lane or when returning to my own). thats how i get most of my kills early game.

I've had some pretty kickass games with this build. I had one game that was 21/0/5 using this build. my friend, who constantly tells me how much better he is than me, was in denial about how much better my score was than his ^^

Thanks for your reply. I had missed the part where you said in the guide that starting with blue is risky. I'll attempt it tonight with a leash and see how it goes. I did do a custom starting at double golems and working my way up like you depict. Worked well for me, definitely anxious to get into a full game to try it out now. I don't have T3 runes so I have to go a tad slower, considering spending the IP for at least Quints of Fort. Overall I really enjoy the guide and I look forward to mastering the nightmare. +1, and I'll report back with my findings on blue later tonight.

I don't understand... guides after the latest nerf? I don't know what do you mean by that:( I play Nocturne the same way from the moment he was released and I think that he is still very powerful... I don't know what is the problem in your case and why do you "only fail with Noc", sorry...


You can always use Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration, I mentioned them in my guide;) Just read all and you will find it :D I myself decided to screw mana issues and focus on destruction power :D

I tried starting at blue, but... I died xD But it was at a custom game, so no one could pull golem for me. And I didn't have all my jungling runes when I tried it. I tried many, many jungling routes and I find the one I present in this guide the best. But if you will find starting at blue faster, plz leave me a comment:P
Btw. stealing enemy's jungle ftw!

I should be unlocking Noc within the next few days, so I'll be trying your jungle build. Definitely report back when I have tested it.

Do you ever start at blue when jungling though? I know it's prone to pretty lousy ganks (I play jungle Amumu) but if managed I would imagine the rest of your route would be a bit faster.

I had a blast with this build. I was looking for a good jungler who can punish severely those who are over extended and what not and I thought of playing Nocturne. Naturally, I checked out the highest rated guide and you gave a lot of useful words of advice.

At the moment, I'm still getting used to him seeing as it's my first few tries with him AND being in the jungle, but it's fun over all. Thanks again!

Great Guide. Took me a few games to get the hang of Nocturne, but practising what you had down here, finaly got on a roll with him. Had a few wins, the best of which was 32/2/14
