I find it hilarious how mobafire, a guide-writing site, needs to link solomid guides.

solomid is the best site for guides meant to work in high-ELO competitive play
mobafire caters to the community, and as i've said, in order to remain unbiased, the builds on this site aren't meant as much for top-ELO play than solomid guides
not saying of course that our guides are bad - far from it. we've got some of the best guides i've seen thus far
it's more of an argument that if you compare the best guides on both sites, solomid is more of an exclusive club that knows what they're doing

Yeah, and Solomid guides don't explain ANYTHING
they just sort of put the items out there and say "you ward stuff, buy oracles, take mid" etc.
they hardly explain their choices
they don't work well for learning a character, but more how to play a character you already know well
for instance, I use the trundle guide there because I know trundle I just need to know the best way to build his core items
however, for TF, the only AP TF build there was horribly unuseful, since it didn't explain anything
So, in effect, our decent guides are most detailed and best for learning. Their featured guides have the best items for sure.
