Nidalee is great early game and tapers off late game, like many AP characters. She shines best late-game supporting with her heal, poking with her spear, and bursting down squishies. Her strongest phase is her laning phase and her roaming mid-game.
Renekton is probably the strongest tanky DPS in the game right now and is very powerful.

I agree with Jebus, Nidalee is a great harass early game because of her spear, and late game, her heal is amazing. I do enjoy her traps a lot as well.
And I like to play Renekton as a DPS, not a tank as other people do. I think he'd got enough defense already, except I usually buy Spirit Visage for his Cull the Meek skill.

As said before, Nid is pretty good early game, and late game can do some pretty nasty damage to those squshies. She is really fun to play, just snipe people with max range javeline toss, its so fun.

Renekton is a tanky DPS because he will die too quickly if they focus him with only DPS items. That's a big problem with many melee champions. They need durability to be able to do something.
