lol you should learn about something called "metagame"
armor pen and magic pen work wonders.
there are always ways to counter others champs, or else they wouldn't be in the game. You can counter ppl who get MRes and armor, and keep in mind, since he is tanky DPS, he is not going to get A LOT of MRes or armor, if he is he would be built a tank. You need to work with your teammates and buy items to counter them. This goes for annnny champion...
