with this build i scored 8/2/15 :D laned with janna vs jax and nidalee i felt like a very tanky dps :D

Till now i will not vote but one thing is sure this is a good build

I will discus some small things in my opinion you should change but again this is my opinion over 100s of matches with him. (by the way i tried everything on shen and i agree he is only good for tank build and fighter build but fighter build is too much complicated and hard for newbies)

So first heal is awesome with ulti but as shen i have gotten a lot of more assists and kills with fortify

2) I know you said your reason why you do not want randuin. I tried to skip randuin but its effectiveness and big synergy with that aoe taunt just cannot be avoided in my opinion you should get it instead of sunfire.

3) To my previous point i am sure someone will pop are you kidding me no sunfire no fariming not true. At first i was a noob with shen i used to get this item but with loads f practice i now clear 15 minion waves with ki strike and vorpal - i use feint to get attacks from caster minions so i can spam ki strike and vorpal every 2.9 sec or less also sometimes i take smite but rarely you really do not need sunfire really.

4) Warmog is great especially for ki strike but is pathetic on shen - why? kog maw, ww, mundo and the famous Madred's bloodrazer these kill you fast with warmog, still a great item but Rylai's sceptor is better 500 health gives you moderate health not more than 2800 which is perfect applied to your armor and mr Also when you spam vorpal you slow targets in teamfights - I used to skip that crystal sceptor but it's slowing effect with spam vorpal is too much great - TOO MUCH I SAY

5) Also as second item after dorans and mercury sometimes i get spirit visage especially when opponent has heavy ap team and sell at last to another fon or maybe if i want damage i choose to buy ABYSSAL Sceptor instead of another fon.

6) Masteries - the fact that you noticed the benefits of extra xp is great i did the same masterie formation as yours until i realised that archaic knowledge is too much great applied with ki strike and cooldown is better

7) Runes - Yours are good but mine are better

I only use 10 energy regen per 5 sec
some cool down glyphs
and famous magic pen marks

I could say a lot more but i already stated too much

First time i ever played shen went 3/4/5 with this build cuz we were 4vs5 and they had swain and twitch but this build is epic if the battle was 5vs5 we wouldve surely won ^^ +1

your skill sequence is the one that I use too, very nice for catching up and be able to run away ... quickly come to rescue allies. But I don't really get why u want to take Ardor as mastery!

The attack speed is ok but why the AP, I guess for the shield.

I prefer taking the less damage from minions (personal)

Great shen build guide, would like some on jungling to go with it, but hey you cant have everything!

I don't understand the 3 points in Ardor instead of putting a point into Nimbleness and maybe one in Defensive Mastery just so you can get to the final defensive point. Ardor doesn't actually give me any benefits because if I have 0 Ability Power, then 4% of 0 is 0. The 4% to bonus Attack Speed also seems very minimal and not as beneficial to Shen as 10% speed increase on every dodge.

Other than that, I think it is a very solid build.
