I just noticed that in the builds section of the guides the AP shown doesn't not include Archangel's Staff Passive bonus (3% of your mana converted into AP).

Besides that, I've also noticed that the cooldown reduction in the build isn't adding up the bonuses from masteries.

I was wondering if these are bugs or if it's working as intended?

I think those are on purpose, since a lot of things can effect how much mana you have, and it might be too hard to calculate it all in the database (?).

But anyway, please post this in the Database forums, where someone may give you a better answer; this is the wrong place for this ^_^

My bad if those 2 questions were misplaced.

Since the problem wasn't directly regarding the database data (the problem is in the guide page) I figured it be better to post here...

Regarding the "it might be too hard to calculate"... it's all a matter of updating formulas to calculate the masteries too as well as the 3% mana thingy. It shouldn't be that hard but then again, I dunno if they are doing the calcs via Ajax or JSP on page request. Kinda doubt it's calculated in the database tho...

Excuse my thread necromancy, but I figured reviving this thread is better than posting a "duplicate" new one.

This is the case for passives of all items; for some it makes sense, I suppose, like stack items and Bloodthirster... but it also doesn't display bonuses that are non-stack (such as that from Archangel's Staff), or from permanent stacks such as Warmog's Armour or Rod of Ages.

Because the calculations are specifically using the "final" values for all stats, it wouldn't be too difficult to add on something like, for Archangel's Staff, "AP = AP Without Passive + 0.03*MaxMP," where MaxMP is the total mana when the build is complete. We're calculating a point, not a curve, so I don't see why not include the passive bonuses of items whose bonuses are permanent.

As for items like RoA and Warmog's, which have "permanent stacks" that don't go away upon death, wouldn't it make more sense to simply include the full boost so that the guide displays 100% endgame stats? Or to have two values for each entry, those being "base" and "fully stacked"?

Meh, just a bit of griping because my currently posted guide uses three different items with stacks, items whose bonuses simply don't appear in the endgame info and make the build look a lot weaker endgame than it is. =P I guess people can always just add on the passive bonuses themselves if they're paying attention to which stacking/passive-bonus items are in the build.
Maybe including a little note saying "this endgame projection does not include bonuses from items' passive effects," or some such?
