Sion has ranged stun, Alistar doesnt
Sion stun is reliable, alistar one misses from time to time.
Sion Shield grants him huge HP boost (if going AP) and also great damage, alistar heals... very ****py scaling tho.
Sion Ulti heals whole team too and makes him melee attacks hit faster, oh btw Sion basic attacks >>>>>>> Alistar ones.
Sion farms way better (still)
The only thing that Alistar does better is Procing Lichbane if equipped.
Still AP Sion > AP Alistar.

I haven't gotten too much elo from Alistar. He keeps getting banned every game now xD, only got around 24 elo from him lately. :(
