my friend started playing trundle all the time recently but yes i agree hes barely played.
outside of champion free weeks i barely see any champion thats not
a) a tank (rammus/shen/amumu.. you'll see one-2 every game.)
b) one of the last 5 newest champions
c) a champion thats not 'babys first' (ie babys first mage is ryze/annie, babys first carry is yi/ashe, babys first tank is alistar..) ie easy to play champions that are cheap.
other than that i dont really see many champions.

Urgot is incredibly strong overall and Trundle is a great jungler.
Gragas on the other hand is a little weak though.

Cassiopeia and Karma. The only Karma I ever see is me. I made someone queue dodge by picking Karma after they said "Pick a real champion."

I suppose Cass and Karma would probably be likely follow ups on the list for me now that you guys mention it. Cass is a sick pusher, so it's a little befuddling why she's never around.
So as a follow up I suppose, what are some theories for why these guys (Urgot, Trundle, Gragas, Cassiopeia, and Karma) aren't played? Do these champions just suck or do other champions just perform their roles better?
