I start with a Regrowth pendant, a health potion, and get tier 2 boots, and another regrowth pendant on my first back, from there, i either buy a Frozen Heart, or FoN+Next Item depending on who i am laning against on my second back.

Mordekaiser should never rush, or even use a Warmog's, because he already has the most health in the game, as well as the most health regen.

He should never need hp regen or health items, he has the best tank with 40% CDR and loads of Armor and Magic Resistance.

FoN isn't rushed because of the HP Regen, it's rushed because it gives the most Magic Resist in the game.

Also, i have 40-50 flawless games with mordekaiser, if he gets a penta, it's because that team is terrible, not because the mordekaiser is good.

Warmog's suck - end.

Get a mix of rushing your Sorc shoes/getting a Chain Vest/Negatron Cloak and getting a Giant's belt afterwards.

Then complete whatever item you neeed to defend you against opponents. Meaning if against strong AP champs - complete FoN - against strong AD champs - complete either Funfire or Randuins or if very AD heavy Frozen Heart or Thornmail. (all of those 4 are just fine to get).

Then you complete whichever you didn't complete before (if you aren't against a team composed of for instance only AD champs - Happily that doesn't happen often) and then you can work on whatever offensive item/CC item you choose.

Oh, and Util pwns defensive anyday. Go 9/0/21 and own the world ^^

I must say to all of you critising the value of warmogs that if you can farm well (which is easy with siphon), then warmogs is a good choice as it grants great hp and hp regen(important for a tank) and you can gain it quite early on. However if you're a not so good and die continously, or get harrassed easily or even can't farm, then it isn't a good choice. This build is great for people who can actually use Mordekaiser to his full potential which includes harrassing and farming well using siphon. In a game with Mord, if you're not getting over 100 minion kills, then something is wrong. Overall this build is a good build, and if you can't use it then obviously you're doing something wrong and should play another character. I personally have now began using this build and it works well. The majority of other builds are just stupid on Mord as the don't maximise his potential for both a tank and carry.

I agree with the 1st part, however this i don't. If u dont warmogs 1st then what do u do? fon rush? i have seen so many fail fon rush it isn't funny. On the other hand i have a friend who plays mordekaiser; he goes warmogs 1st, has a k/d over 5, and 2 pentakills. Is that enough to beat fail fon rush?

Fail on the part that your runes are pretty dumb - You will want the Mpen marks to get shield up.
You doesn't get ghost - Flash is far worse on morde than ghost.
You buy warmogs as first item - The way to fail on mordekaiser ^^
