great build! actually, I didn't like offtank jarvan, I feel lacking dmg (compared to when I play offtank irelia) and still die a lot. For DPS I play it even thought he's very squishy early game. So tank jarvan does a really good job, especially with his CC heavy skills and his support with demacian standard

Its true, i've been trying the other builds from Jarvan and i find him very squishy. In early game with my guide i feel like a big monster and i allways make fb or i assist it cause they can't kill me, a lot of hp,armor and mag res.
I got to work on it but its a little hard :p

I sometimes get TrinityForce after my first def item/merc treads.
In most cases going straight for tank stuff works best for me.

I know that trinity force is very good for jarvan but for that there is a build for an offtank Jarvan from Duff :) i hope nobody downvotes my build cause i made this build for a Full tank Jarvan..

Personally I would substitute the Sunfire for Trinity Force, but that's practically my build already. xD

Ye, trinity force is a good choice too but in that case your doing an offtank, its a good idea too but i made this build to make a Jarvan full tank :)

Not a fan of this build, for starters - flash is redundant when ghost is far more viable. Tankvan doesn't really deal enough damage to validate the build, when you can go a far more viable tank.
Derp.
And yea, I've been experimenting with CDR Jarven.
Starting with Shurelia, Merc boots, Randium, going for Frozen Heart or Banshee first. (Depending if team is ap or ad heavy)
Still think that, tank build is the best way to play him. ^^
A tank build I am experimenting with is a CDR tank

Flat CDR blues
Ionian Boots
Wriggle's Lantern
Glacial Shroud (upgrade to Frozen Heart later)
Banshee Veil
Last couple items are game dependent. You could get either of the new tenacity items. You can get Warmogs + Atmas. You can get Sunfire + Atmas. You can get Randuins (but don't get the flat CDR blues if you do). I have got to do some more testing with it though. Haven't played enough games with it yet to get a good sense of if it will always work. Though on paper it should. Obvious weaknesses are lower HP than usual and lack of tenacity. And I hate not having Force of Nature when I tank. But that may just be a personal preference.
