rylai´s and abyssal are a MUST for mord, good work, like it, pretty solid <3 u have my vote +1
Putting Rylai's and Abyssal Scepter on the same level is an insult to Abyssal.
Nothing in mordekaiser's playstyle makes Rylai's a good decision when there are so many items for the same price with better stats.
If you NEED a direct replacement, i would get lich bane.
There is no point where a Rylai's Crystal Scepter will get you a kill where a Lich Bane won't get you one faster and easier.
Both are great items, but I strongly prefer Ryali's on any AP champion. Also I was thinking that instead of getting the Abyssal Scepter maybe I should sub it for a Morello's Evil Tome.
Mostly because this would get rid of the CD problem.
Abyssal is absolutely core on mordekaiser.
In any build.

I see where you guys are coming from but, I don't play him as a tank.. He's not a freakin tank. I play like an over aggressive beefy caster. Personally in a team fight I dominate even with out CD.. once i put the shield on my self i just siphon, since they are slowed we can just eat away at their team. There hasn't really been any issues with my low CDR. And Well you don't need to build him tanky seeing as how hes not a tank, I mean sure TANKY/DPS is nice, this is just how I play him and I love it.
As for the comment on the rylais switched for the haunting guise, I honestly think that might be a good idea, But I would still go, Boots > Force > Giants Belt, Haunting Guise > Rylai's > Mejai's > Abyssal.
Because Morde Generally doesn't have an AMAZING mid game unless his fed like a beast early. The Hauting guise might make it easier! Thanks for you input :D!
He isn't a tank but he is definitely a soak, without the gap closer that he so needs, he is very susceptible to carries like Ashe and Tristana kiting him around. hance the need for slows and armor due to randuins and frozen heart

You have a bit more damage than the average build, but way less tank.
