It's actually Scotch Whiskey or Scottish whiskey... Scotch's just an abbreviation :P
@xLiqur: I was just saying that older whiskey (like 12 yo and such) should be drank straight... Only young whiskey can be "spoiled" in that way :P

Ah, I see. Didn't know of the whiskey etiquette.
Im still a newb to the drinking life xD
The battleroom is ready. Liqur's hands are steady. The enemy is deadly.
It's not a matter of etiquette... as you try older whiskey the taste is quite different.
Imho, younger whiskey is always a lot more "harsh" and thus it often goes well with coke (to cut up it's "harshness"). Older whiskey is quite different tho and should be flavored ;)

Here are 2 new whiskeys I recently tried:
Mackmyra - Swedish whiskey with a complex taste. I'm thinking maybe some kind of maple (syrup?) taste. Kinda sharp. A little smoky.
7.5/10
Provenance - Smoky. Complex and very sharp.
8/10

Drinking age in denmark is awesome, even if they talk like ******s :P
It's 16 for below 16.5% and 18 for above. (I think)
Would be much better if Sweden changed up their rules.
