Linux client please.
Hope you can fix your own computer then
EDIT: I also detest Macs, but I like my PC so phbbt (*blows raspberry*)
I can. Been building my own for years now, I refuse to buy a computer anymore. PC isnt all that great either. I also like to pay for better hardware for a cheaper price than what Apple has.
You are paying for subpar hardware with a half eaten apple on it.
Edit because you ALWAYS do that to me -.- HUMPH!: Linux runs on PC so I dont see what you mean but"But I like my PC"

My boyfriend wants a linux too, I just don't know anything about computer programming/hardware...so PC is the best choice for me.
Not being a ****, honest question.
Are you able to read?
If you answered yes to the following question here ya go.
http://ubuntuforums.org/ - Any question you can think of will be here.
http://www.ubuntu.com/ - You can dual boot it, turn on computer and pick Linux or Windows (shudder), and its pretty simple to get going.
I admit its a different "Language" than what youd be used to, but its simpler and better in the end. Ubuntu is the, imo, the best way to start out in linux.
