If you answered yes to the following question here ya go. http://ubuntuforums.org/ - Any question you can think of will be here. http://www.ubuntu.com/ - You can dual boot it, turn on computer and pick Linux or Windows (shudder), and its pretty simple to get going. I admit its a different "Language" than what youd be used to, but its simpler and better in the end. Ubuntu is the, imo, the best way to start out in linux.[/quote]
