Well i do lvl pulverize first now sometimes to, because headbutt got nerfed so they have almost equal dmg. if i am against someone i can/should harass i do headbutt. and yeah.. but philos gp10 are unique.
So having more than one is just a waste.
You should get a eleisas AND heart of gold or something. dont know yet..

I would, but recently, they nerfed Philo's, so I feel like I should have 2 even more now. :( Also, I looked at your guide, liked how much you elaborated, and +1'd it, a bit ago, Vetle. I like how you agree with me on leveling Headbutt first. :)

sorry for triple.. but switch an early philo for a heart of gold, i like the extra hp and i dont feel i need the extra mana/Health regen

And yes alistar as pure tank is joke. u must play Tanky but have som cdr.

Changed my vote to +1. not because i like ap alistar any better but i have myself recently started to play a build that looks kinda like ur 3 build(just more tanky or with trinity)
And i thing build 2 and 3 looks very interesting.

Sorry, I was wrong about the ratios, but if you are watching the season 1 championship, you'd know that Shushei from FnaticMSI is destroying as AP Alistar. Also AP Alistar is purely situational, and pure, PURE, tank Alistar is even more of a joke. Alistar is best played as support bot lane in 5's or roaming in 5's. It's just fun to play AP Alistar in 3's because people always play the right champions/build the way that creates the AP Alistar situation.

Look at the picture of my scores, the reason he is so good is that 2 of his abilities are CCs and people honestly don't expect it. Also, its .8 .8 .6, not .6 .8 .6. Those CCs make it easy for you to get first blood, then get fed, then do massive damage at only 15 minutes in.

myy poiny is that if you rely on your ultimate to defend you, and have no other tank items sure you can ignore alot of dmg but not true. but tank has more health and with amrour/mr and ulti noone exept true dmg will hurt you so it doesnt matter that much.

My actual point is that alistar has a 0,06 ap ratio and a 0,6 and a 0,8. thats hes dmg. thats bad. really bad.
hes melee wich is bad if you play caster style. and he must be close.
and with such bad ratios, an ulti that gives AD and being a melee and not doing good dmg anyway(decent but not good, compared to real nukes)
