Gragas is actually a pretty strong jungler. I have done it a lot and have to say he's very fun to jungle as. His ganks depend and how good you are at landing ulti and body slam, so he's a little like Amumu with bandage toss. As far as in the jungle, he has nice self buffs and can go over a bunch of walls.
