well to be honest u are right but how are u gonna build differently to shave off 2.1% unless u dont go for the 15% MP from masteries which would be dumb but its doesnt really matter that much cause it has nothing to do with how the builds items are. although u could mix blue runes so that u get 39.4% but that only frees up 3 rune slots there but hey try it out. its not like i can force u to build the way i build. so tinker till u find what works and let me know and ill prolly add it to my guide. thx for the comment.

Small detail: From this build you have (10+15+6+3+8,1) = 42,1% of CD reduction. Max is 40%. I know it will be on 18 lvl, but it's still a little waste ;P.

Well in response to WiShlMe i understand that to be honest i only put it as an option i am eventually doing a section on situational items the only reason theres a lich bane is for the passive the MR which mnd u isnt much and its AP tbh i dont recomend it much at all.

Now for for firefly6985 i understand why not to take lich bane once again its only on there cause guide requires i will eventually be putting what i said earlier about the situational items, and also on the topic of auto attacks what do u think happens in between CDs which makes it still viable.the reason i build the SV first is cause it gives MR and health instead of AP and spellvamp which is why both are built just one before the other. and as i said about start items boots are viable too, i personally choose amp tome, and for the Dorans Shield i can see why youd grab it but in the long run it wont help as much for what im trying to do with this build.

P.S.:Sorry if my sentences dont make much sense i type faster than i think sometimes so stuff looks a little broke.

Lich Bane is a terrible item for Vlad. By the time you can afford this item, you should be spamming your spells so often you dont have time to autoattack.

I think Hextech Revolver is a better first purchase than Spirit Visage.

It always makes me shudder whenever I seen anyone start with Amp tome.... Get Doran's Shield or Boots and pots instead.

Why lich bane if vlad dont have mana man but i know what was your intention using lich bane because with a low cooldown the special features of lich bane get overpowered. but try to thing about replace lich bane for another item
