1 st , deathfire grasp isnt the optimal item for brand .
2nd , RoA have to be bought as a first item to be really effective .
3rd , RoA isn't the good item for brand when he need a lil survability .

what do you mean he has long cooldowns for rylais? i just know that if i hit a guy with my conflagration and he gets slowed because of it, i can land my sear WAY easier.

If you say that roa gives you more than that, then you say, that 130 max hp and 725 max mp are more than a slow with every spell, that is a slow on every target that is burning... difference in cost is only 70g btw.

You may say that when you buy roa, you also buy catalyst first, and that that is a better item then anything i could start with when i want to go for rylais. My brand gets both, the early catalyst, and the rylais. i just turn the catalyst into a banshees once i start getting focused :)

you might say that i dont get enough mana without roa... well i get the tear for that :)) so there should be no problems there... and if i have trouble with mana regen, i can just up it into an AA staff...

i can't really think of a reason why I would buy roa on brand, there is just no place in my build for this many pure stat items.... maybe if i didn't get the tear, then i would consider getting roa, but in my opinion, roa is only good on burst mages like annie anivia, who just do their stuff and walk away. brand can re enter the fight if he keeps his distance, cause his cooldowns on important stuff are short. the cd on his stun is practically 4 seconds...

I don't think brand has enough initial burst for DFG to be effective, maybe in Taric+Brand bot lane, but otherwise it's not well used in mid unless you land your entire combo.

If it works for you, then go for it, but i don't like it.

RoA is great on brand, but why rylai's? Brand has kind of long CD's for it.

Replace Rylai's with Abyssal and this is pretty solid.

Oh, abyssal would mess with Void Staff, might as well make it a

early dfg gives you practically another spell. brand does not need that. You add yet another spell to his combo, and this spell does not aply blaze... i simply dont like it.

You say you need gp5... instead of buying gp5, i buy stuff that helps me stay in lane, like a catalyst. Also, as an ap carry, you will be mid most of the time, and i think you can get as many minion kills as you want.

i usually start EQW, cause EQ is the most reliable stun imo.

and yea, brand does not need rod of ages, he does need banshee though...

thanks for the upvote, alot of people will mid with brand, and taking 2 dorans rings and all of that does make sense but i think brand is a much better laner, just because of his amazing harass and stun ability, and with these items i think he is utilized very well because he does not have to worry about last hitting minions a whole lot because of pick and he can mostly focus on dominating the lane.
