AP NUKE:
Annie, to me is by far the easiest champion to pick up and play, her impact in team fights is astounding as well her single target DPS is awesome too. With the recent buff her late game is strong too.
RANGED AD:
Ashe, same story as Annie, very solid champion and not too hard to get the hang of. However she is not as easy to master and requires more focus on your positioning for team fights.
TANK: Singed or Amumu are solid picks for that.
MELEE: Xin Zhao or Warwick (in the lane). both strong, both relatively simple to grasp after a little bit of play time. Lots of good builds for both of them too.
