Flip the situation around, guy pulls a gun out around you. What would you do? I personally would yell "Gun!" point, and find cover.
Because you pull out a gun in a public place for a good reason, so everyone can see it, not to do anything bad. Just my logical thinking behind it.
Anyways, do you all not have the right to carry a concealed weapon? I mean we got right to bear arms, just as long as we're not waving it around in public.
Edit: okay just read other posts. So your not allowed to carry arms, but a guy with a gun is breaking the law then, and he has it out in public. Not a good sign.

In my eyes there is only justice

Depends what he's doing with it. Is he pointing it at people? Waving it around? Is he holding it downwards in a non-threatening way?
Assuming we're talking about a situation where someone had a clear shot at him and there were police surrounding the area, I would only fire if he was clearly thinking of using the weapon. Otherwise there could still be a chance of talking him into dropping the gun and giving himself up. If he did become threatening you'd still have the option to take the shot.
We'll never know what were the real circumstances on that... From what i've read, he was a gang leader and he's been pretty much used as a martyr (whenever a gang member/leader dies, everyone comes out saying he was an angel, such a kind boy and all that)... First commotion was cause of his death and personally I think that right now, nobody cares about any of it. They're just using up this chance to pillage.
I'm not saying it was wrong for them to shoot the guy, I'm just saying I hope it was as a last resort. It doesn't really matter at this point since it's basically just an excuse for violent idiots to go on a rampage.
Clockwork Orange.
Time for a bit of the old ultraviolence?

Really? This is getting out of hand fast. I wouldn't be surprised if they start using riot vehicles or tear gas or something at this rate.
