That's why it's an situational item. It's not like you're supposed to be running into five people just because you have a thornmail. And with the skill order, you don't need Scrap Shield if you play smart. If you can't play smart, then I guess it's a safe fall back.

Without Scrap Shieldyou're less mobile... I prefer adding one point to it on lvl 2, and max it after Flamespitter. Also thornmail without HP is... not the best idea.

love the guild. but i think it need a few items that recommends for rumble. ninja tabi is great item solo top against ads that are more reliant to basic attacks like tryn, xin zhao, riven, and even darius; but even do your chasing capability will be down since without merc treads, you still have jugernaut mastery anyway and rumble has 2 abilities for slow and 1 for 1 sec ms boost. will of the ancients is also a buy for team support and improved survivability.

But now I'm not doing what I said , right now I start with boots + pots , rylai , MERCURY ( I like sorc too but I play solo queue too much and there often people rely in me as a bit of tank , maybe even less than offtank ,but a bit , and doing deathfire grasp first rid me of a fair bit of tankyness) , rabaddon , solar cape , and then usually the game is done , but I doubt if I should make the dfg then , make the abysall and after the dfg , or wut D:

The build I follow , until this patch I Was making a revolver between rylai and rabaddon and then upgraded it to wota after rabaddon

Now after the patch and Deathfire grasp losing it's MP5 bonus , I make a kage pick after rylai and upgrade it to the DFG after the rabaddon , and man..... rumble rapes so hard with DFG .... it also gives 80 ap now

I don't get youre item choices. Why a Sunfire cape and not a Zhonya's ? And you keep saying hes so easy to play ... so how come almost all rumble I see are really really bad ?

i love this setup it has really helped me get out of elo hell but the only thing that i have been thinking about is shouldnt rumble have merc boots instead, but anything else is awesome +1 from me :D
