The rioters deserve it at this point, if nothing happens they have "won" - and will have broke the law without consequence. If we want this to stop, we need to show them that we mean business - the police are pretty much chasing them round until they "get bored and leave", I wouldn't be surprised if someone played Benny Hill music.

I'm not so sure about that, but I think some show of force is definetely neccessary. I was thinking more along the lines of water cannons and tear gas rather than mass murder.
EDIT: Apparantly the city college is on fire, and also the city's library. Really, guys? Really? Burning down a library? After everyone complained so much about the government closing libraries, you burn one down? Way to prove you're only in this to set **** on fire, you ****ing idiot arseholes.

Pfft, the **** doesn't they just bring out exploding bullets and shoot everyone they can see on the street? Like, one clip and you'll shower the neighborhood in body parts.

From what I hear, shops have been looted and set on fire and cars are being set on fire. Haven't heard anything about violence towards civilians or homes so I'm sure he's fine.
