see this was again a quick build i made the day he came out and continued to play, once they updated the ap scale on W i quit yorick because imo he useless, to me at least. and with your comment on him not being over looked this build was for the week he came out when NO one used him because everyone felt he was underpowered, but i do see your points in ghostblade and exhaust, it was just my personal play style and i thought i would toss it out there since i was going like 23-5-7 a game with it. but thank you very much for the feed back :)

I voted up because personally I think it doesn't deserve a 50% rating, but I would not have given it a thumbs up otherwise.

Here's some feedback:

1. You're over the cooldown reduction 40% cap. Frozen Heart gives 20%, Youmuu's 15%, Boots of Lucidity 15%. Your masteries give 3%. All in all, you've wasted 12% cooldown, as it cannot go above 40%. Just grab a few CDR runes and you'll meet 40% easily. Going 9/0/21 masteries also will do the trick.

2. To neutralize a con, you should get Flash. If you noticed in high level play (Dreamhack is a place where you can observe this), almost every champion on the team has Flash. It's a must, and although Yorick is tanky DPS (tanky DPS usually grabs Ghost because he deals consistent damage and no burst).

3. Yorick is played as tanky DPS (tanky comes first, so therefore you should prioritize tankiness over DPS).

If you didn't know, the current meta-game works as such: tanky DPS top, AP carry mid, AD carry and support bot, with a jungler.

Thus Yorick should be top (don't be too concerned about this as this applies to only ranked play).

4. Ghostblade is a waste. Not only do you go over the CDR cap, the only thing useful in Ghostblade is attack damage (you can get more from other places). Armor penetration is somewhat useless because your W and E deal magic damage and the active won't help his Q, W, or E. And critical strike chance is just as useless (the only real physical damage is from Q and that doesn't crit).

Even if you argue that each of these may be useful in a special situation, there's always the Hextech Gunblade as an alternative. His W now scales AP and most of the item helps our Yorick quite a bit (in his DPS).

5. For one con, you mentioned that you have to play smart with Yorick...you have to play smart with EVERY CHAMPION!!!

6. No need for exhaust...you are a tanky DPS so the damage dealt to you shouldn't be significant enough to grab it, unless they're fed extremely hard by some noob. Your W should slow enough for you to auto-attack and proc the Trinity slow.

7. Yorick is not overlooked at all. You seem him banned or played in almost every ranked game. Cho'gath can compete with Yorick because of his sustainability (passive heals him for minions killed).
