I just wrote a Garen guide and you might want to look at that if you're looking for pointers. The thing is huge!

That said, let me give you some constructive criticism:

1) Consider whether you really need 23 points in your offensive tree. Most people go at most 21 in one tree, and then spend the rest in another tree.

2) You should put your items in the order you purchase them in the cheat sheet for easy use. It's the first thing people look at- nobody rushes Atma's Impaler, for example, but it looks like you're recommending it.

3) Madred's Bloodrazor is not a good Garen item, and neither are Berserker Greaves. Phantom Dancers cost too much money for the small benefit they give Garen (extra movement speed). It's not like the extra attack speed will be especially useful.

4) You're telling me to build all damage items on Garen?

5) Don't jungle Garen. That's just silly. If you really were advocating jungle Garen, you'd need more detail about how to gank, jungle routes, and the like because it's so off-the-wall.

6) A long sword start is unorthodox, and your item build is difficult to read. Put double square brackets around the item names like this : Hexdrinker to make those little images show up.

7)Your runes are all over the place, and awful. Take three of one quintessence instead of one each of three quintessences. Critical Strike and Attack Speed are poor choices for Garen, who does not rely on his autoattack. Cooldown Reduction per-level at least is fine.


In short: I see a potentially good DPS Garen guide in desperate need of cleaning up. Keep working on it, format it, make it more clear, and it could be something good.

So this is my thought on your guide:

Switch Rally with something like Ignite, Ghost, or Flash.

Switch Greaves for Boots 3, Tabi (AD Team), and Mercs (CC MAGic TEAM)

Switch Bloodrazors for Last whisper or Youmuu's because Attack Speed is a waste on Garen and he is terrible with the item of Bloodrazors.

SWitch your Seals with Dodge or so, your Quints are "ok"

Utility isn't that great on Garen for masteries.

Max Judgement first, it is the best skill on Garen and deals better damage than your Q

Everything else is great, and I LOVE the idea of you going for crit, since it is great on Garen. Then again, these are my suggestions, suit yourself, use the build that's best for you ! Oh and what is your summoner level?
