Yeah, I stupidly didn't realize I can apply my "technique" for making the style of background AFTER I had already made the first one @_@. And rather than just start fresh (it was super late last night) I decided to to go in and try to erase the top half off of each frame @_@.
For the kitty sig the animation was simple, I just duplicated layers and then had the program extrapolate it out, this one each frame was duplicated and displaced etc etc. @_@ it felt long to me lol.

Alright Siveo, here is the first try. I'm using a bit different style than before. Hope you like it.
edit: Gonna try and make it look like there isn't any defined cut-off. It kinda kills the flow, I only noticed now looking at it. I'll post the second version in a lil bit.
