You don't exploit his passive at all. Randuin's Oomen is soo much on him then Thornmail. He has no taunt or something to make Thornmail effective, what he does have is a great initiate in his ult and followed bij Ground Slam + Randuin's active you cripple enemies movement and attack speed!
Malphite doesn't need chalice, manange your skills and all you need is a frozen heart.
I also suggest giving him a Triforce late game, this will boost his dmg a lot and making him a treat to squishy carries.
Hmmm... I never really thought of it that way, thank you for the suggestion. Its definately something I will try out. I enjoy Chalice for early game it allows you to spam your Q really easy. It could be removed late game for something else im sure. Ill have to play a few games and update the guide as needed. As always the feedback is appreciated!

I do agree on the Thornmail, Randuin's might be a better pick.
Chalice is a really cheap way to make it so he can basically spam skills, instead of having to be a lamephite who can't do anything half the time.
Unsure about the Trinity, it seems like such an expensive item to get late game, especially for a tank build...

ONly thing I have against it is the name of the guide, any reference to stonewall008 should be a jungling guide! Guide's not too bad but you should try to improve it over time and it may get to the top ;) Also try to put in some poctures and icons of items/skills, it makes it easier to read.
Ah heh well I had no idea there was someone named Stonewall008 I do apologize for this. I meant the name to be in reference to Malphite since he is a rock, and the tank build making him a Stone Wall. I guess I should have put a space. And I was gonna do the pictures for items/skills but I figured it would look too choppy so I just wrote it all out as normal for the more "Professional" look. But thank you muchly for the feedback! ^^
Nah, it just so happened that I stumbled upon this build after I got out of a game with Malph. Sorry to dissapoint. I always like to check new builds and help people out. You are mean Cirnots.
When the guide was made and you posted like, twenty minutes after, and you only have 9 posts, it was horribly suspicious.
I don't see how you could have enough time for a game with Malph after reading the whole guide, they must've surrendered at 20. @_@;
But to add to the guide, you should get Randuin's instead of Banshee's, unless you're getting pounded by MD. FoN should be enough. It will make your E do lots of damage. Other than that, looks great!
