Like others said he should jungle.
However, he can do well in solo lanes with the right match up. For instance, he absolutely destroys Vladimir.
Duo partners: Alistar could be pretty damn funny from the CC you would have. Vayne and Cait are probably good AD champs to go with you.
^Those just sound good to me theoretically. I've never tried duo fiddle.

Well I must say, when I play Fiddle in lane/mid I get the best results...
But I played a few games together with a friend who plays Amumu and we rocked!
Also co-operating with a Teemo works very nice!

If you /must/ lane with fiddlesticks, get a blitzcrank as a laning partner.
Pull-> Fear-> nomnomnom health ->Tiger uppercut -> 300g/150g
Same thing with Rammus. Fiddle rammus is gaydiculously cheap if you're both well coordinated.
Also, I love how everyone completely ignored his question and went straight to "Well you should be a fiddle jungler". Bloody ****s. All of you.

I guess to each their own, but in all actuality Fiddle can't farm, his CDs are too long to make him a solid harass. His strength is in his Drain sustain. But even that doesn't help against competent people. If you can't jungle fiddle, play a different AP....Unless you're doing a pre-made 5s I doubt you'll get a lane partner that can work with Fiddle.
Additionally, jungle fiddle can snowball exceptionally well because his ganks are so strong. Unlike lane fiddle who just loses all manner of gold gain because he sucks at farming. This is one of those "preference takes a back seat" moments, you either learn to jungle fiddle or you pick a different champ.

I have a question for you: what do you think, is the best laning partner for Fiddlesticks? Normally I'm going mid but if I have a Veigar/Vayne/LeBlanc or someone like that in the team I'll go laning. So if I play with a friend, which character should he choose for the best results?
