so basically corki is one of those few champs I always refused to buy and one of the few I miss (10 total), with this reduction he might actually get in my rooster and end up like tristana (meaning I own her because riot gave her free to me, but I never played her)

I would definitely argue that point.
Corki is amazing, if played right. I almost always do exceptionally good with him, whenever I play him. Just yesterday, I played a match with a friend and went 17-1 (the one death being caused by Karth's stupid ult(It requires a lot of skill, okay?)) and the enemy team surrendered around 21:00. And no, the enemy wasn't stupid or anything; I think one other person on my team went positive. They played well. I just played better with Corki. He's still VERY useful, in my opinion. Although it seems, that 7-8 times outta 10, my team will try their best to persuade me out of picking Corki/give me **** at the beginning for picking him: "Corki you are NOT going mid, you'll feed" "PLEASE DON'T pick Corki. I've never played with a good Corki before" "Pick Ashe or EZ instead!!! They're better carries!"
Of course, I always pick Corki if he's who I want to play, and I always take mid when I'm playing him. Proceed to hold my own very well, and/or dominate, and shut my teammates up.
Also I'm SUPER happy that Blitz got a price reduction. He's sooooo much fun to play. Definitely will be picking him up today. Not planning on maining him, or anything, just REALLY enjoy playing him every once and awhile. So fun :D

He's not what he used to be. This isn't the place to argue this, but I'll restate my position: They're nothing to get excited about. Corki is still viable but he was much better before his UNNECESSARY NERFS. Blitz IS fun to play. BUT he's nothing to get excited about because you need a competent team to do anything with him...GL on finding one in soloque....

I dunno about Blitz needing a competent team, it doesn't take that much intelligence to see a guy being pulled into your team and think 'HERP DERP BETTER RIGHT CLICK DIS GUY'.

Blitz is actually awesome in Dominion. Corki should be too with TF and manamune.
