This is a silly question. But I was talking to a few friends about it, and someone was like "Karma is secretly OP, but no one ever wants to play her". So there are always those champs that everyone is like "whoa, kinda OP" but are ythere any udner the radar champs that arent really seen very much at all that are really really strong, so that I could play a champion that isnt really known?

Cass, although idk if that's changed.

Morde isn't OP anymore, but he is still strong.

And although he hasn't been touched for like, years, Nunu is still strong.

and tbh, every Xin i've played against has raped everyone hard. Same with Yorick. idk if that's op though, or just having no counters/checks etc.

Xin's probably the worst tanky DPS in the game right now with no real scaling to late game

I don't see what you mean :/

I'm not talking about just lategame, i'm talking about with Xin in early game etc.

Unlike Leblanc, he doesn't fall off as much and can't be countered as easily, from my experiences.

The difference being that LeBlanc kills you from 100%-0%, and Xin doesn't.

Xin also essentially has no passive for non-jungling/laning, it's almost useless for team fights. Xin's meant to be good early game, his level 2 ganks are probably some of the best in the game right now, but that's all he has going for him, Lee Sin does everything he does and better, for example.

Xin is a very basic champion and dominates low elo games all the time.

Just like amumu.

800 - 1200 elo range, everyone complains about Xin, Amumu, Annie, Jax, Yi, etc.

Once you get higher they're not even mentioned, generally considered to be underpowered.

Bar Jax and Amumu, I'd agree, I guess.

Jax and Amumu both are used in high elo games all the time - Hotshot's Jax at Gamescom was awesome.

and yet I don't get raped by Lee Sin.

wtf is up with me...

also @Duff, I haven't played any ranked games this season, so my elo isnt exactly great, but last season I was pretty well always higher then 1200 >.>

You know me well enough I think to know i'm not a low elo player I hope >.>

Checklist to immediately detect a low elo player.

Do they think 2 or more of the follow champs are OP?

Xin
Amumu
Tryn
Jax
Gangplank
Master Yi
Poppy
Shaco
Tryndamere

---

If yes, they are very likely low elo!

Are those champs potentially strong/viable?

Yes.

Are they OP?

Not even close.

Also, I've never really gamed with you, I just sort of categorize people based on level of experience, which differs throughout the ranks and levels of play.

I'm not a platinum level player yet, I am confident I will be, but it's very likely I'll have to relearn the game to be able to compete at the platinum level of play.

Things of that nature. So if your elo is low, then yes, you are a low elo player, but that doesn't really mean anything. Knowledge, skill, etc, are all more important.
