I didn't like Cho until I built him like an Offtank.
*Shrug.
Cho's kit can be built into a super tanky and forward aggressive auto attacker.
He also jungles very well but your build needs to be different.
You can use the same runes however.

What I'd like to say to you about your choice of champ... I think you'd really enjoy Urgot. He's super tanky, does massive, consistent damage when fed right, and I believe he can jungle. Personally, I've never tried it, but I think he'd be a great pick :D
Hey guys, thanks for the recommendations. I have played Urgot a little bit. Love him in lane, but he really doesnt scale into late game very well in my experience.
As for Cho...I really wanna love him haha. I just feel like I MISS with his skills so much, landing rupture, feral scream, etc. Like I know they're similar, but I am much better with pillar of filth placement than rupture. He seems like JUST the kinda champ I am looking for, except kinda more of an autoattacker would be my preference. This is why i really love trundle, but he doesnt seem to do damage like Cho can, or completely carry a team like cho can.
Any more suggestions based on that info?

You're right, Trundle doesn't carry as hard as Cho. Lol.
Cho carries harder, does more damage. Trundle disrupts very well, makes a good bruiser.
However, if you get MErc treads, Triforce, Warmogg's, Atma's, Gaurdian Angel, and Infinity edge on Trundle, then you WILL carry VERY hard.
But the concept of finishing that gear is unrealistic >:P

Long time player/first time poster here. Let me apologize in advance I did pretty much what everyone does levelling up - tried out a ton of different champs, in many different roles. I am now level 30 with a fairly decent rune setup (MPen and ArPen reds, armor and mana regen yellows, MR per level and cooldown blues, ArPen and Health quints). Basically, recently, my gameplay has gone like this: start playing a champ, learn how to play em, and play endlessly for a few weeks. But I inevitably get bored. I have always been the kind of player in games that wants to find ONE champ to really learn ALL the nuances of. I know you need to have a number of champs you can play well in ranked games, and I think I do, but I really want to identify with ONE champ and start to main it.
So first, here is a background of champs I have played at least a little extensively:
Tanks: Cho'gath, Alistar (didn't love either, Cho is so strong but just doesnt "feel right" to me, Ali has awesome CC....but then what?)
Off-tanks: Nasus (how I learned to last hit), Jungle Olaf (my first jungler), Garen (loved early game, but fairly boring)
AD: Jungle Gangplank (easiest champ for me to be great with. I played him when he was considered WAY OP like two months ago), Master Yi (first champ I learned how to play), Trundle (my fave jungler, but can't really carry even if I get fed early); Lee Sin (talk about a guy who never felt right for me)
AP: Nidalee (my FAVORITE champ so far. So much you can do. I would typically win my lane, get early kills, etc. but late game I can't carry as hard as I would like), Swain (first AP champ I learned, fun but not my cup of tea), Veigar (another I used to learn how to effectively last hit).
Ok. Now that that is out of the way, let me tell you what I'm looking for in my dream champ hah:
1) Not a very common pick. I LOVE playing underappreciated champs in games like this.
2) Has the ability to carry, pick up multi-kills, etc.
3) Admittedly, I am a fairly aggressive player. I like to be in the middle of fights. So I guess someone that can take a little bit of a beating.
4) I have really just started jungling, but if there is a jungler that fits the other criteria, I'd love to play him. Ganking is just too fun.
Again sorry for the MASSIVE post. If you have any questions for me, just let me know! Thanks so much in advance!
TL;DR: Looking for one champion to main that meets the criteria set out above. Thanks!
