I think instead of WotA I would get banshee's. I typically still get lich bane in a game. I dont when the other team stacks MR and i get a void staff.

Think about it though. you get almost no AP from this build, and Lich Bane proc's on AP. Banshee's is the biggest item in meta, and has been for a very long time. The reason is because it's just generally an amazing item. If you're scared for your cooldown reduction, grab a deathfire grasp for another nuke and that unbelievable cdr. I could name more than 5 items that would be better off on Ryze than Lich Bane. He just doesn't have much use for it.

i like getting lich bane. it offers a good attack if all your abilities are on cool down.

There are a few things I'm in disagreement with regarding this build. First of all, Ryze isn't considered squishy. In fact, he's one of the only "tanky" mages in LoL, besides Xerath. Also, your build is quite indescriptive. You don't explain any other options in terms of items, even though there are plenty. Instead of Will of the Ancients, you could grab a void staff to penetrate their magic resistance. Also, Lich Bane isn't the greatest option for Ryze. You could, instead, grab Rabadon's Deathcap. Though his ratios aren't amazing, it's still a damage boost, and his spell flux does have a good ratio. I believe Banshee's is a must for Ryze, as he uses it better than any champion in LoL besides Singed.
