Riven is not Garen or Renekton, she cannot rely solely on her abilities to do the work, late-game you will have to morph her to an auto-attacker and to do that you need two things that your guide doesn't give whatsoever, attack speed and life-steal. Think about that, CDR is nice, but there's only so much you can rely on your spells.

This build works 100% I already had the runes, and the masteries set up, and the item order really fixed the holes in my play. Won 3 of the last 4 going this build.

Only changes I might make are going Frozen Mallet BEFORE shurelias, as both are made using the health crysal. That being said, the stacking HP/5 from that and Tiamat, many hearts. With boots, cdr is 30% flat.

Very nice, played four games with her, have won every game and gone positive every time. Lvl 30, and I"m starting around probably an average of 5 and 2 with her so far, with my latest game being a 9 and 2 total. This build is causing me to save up for this champ and to get her asap.

Loved it, and all the people saying it sucks have probably not played it yet, because my first game I just wrecked.

Although, all of my best champs tend to be tanky dps, so meh.

This is typically my experience when using Tiamat, though I don't follow your build exactly because I would rather have Ghostblade then Reverie. Tiamat is insane for farm, and when the team fights get going its not surprising to see double/triple kills with Rivens insane AoE capabilities, especially when Ulti is up.

That's a pretty good idea.

Right now I am experimenting with replacing Tiamat with Bloodthirster after build complete, but I'll see how well replacing Aegis of the Legion with Guardian Angel goes.

Good guide. Tried it one or two games and liked it. Tried switching out Aegis for Guardian Angel at the end when I had excess cash for increased tankiness which worked pretty well.

I honestly think you can substitute philo stone for something like Heart of Gold. 5 gold per sec and more benefits from the item itself.

I think there are a lot of things to say about this guide, esp the item build, but since seeing this guide I've adopted Tiamat and Aegis in my builds. I don't agree with skipping Youmuu since it is such a great item, and brut is a cheap CDR item that Riven needs. I think this is a good guide for reference, but following the build completely will leave you alittle gimp mid-late game vs good players.

I won't vote up or down, but I thought I would say after having played Riven quite abit (100+ games) I think you have some validity in what you say and how you build Riven, but your AD is quite low and I can't help but to think you would struggle in a high ranked match.. this guide is just not for highest level of gameplay. It's a good solo queue guide, and good for getting a Riven player comfortable with Riven.
