Oh for chrissakes now I have to spend even more money. And from a brief amazon search, the mousepads are almost as expensive as the mice themselves. FML.
40-50£ is EASILY worth spending for the difference it will make. It makes all mouse gaming SO MUCH SMOTHER.
ME is so overrated.
Just *cough* pirate *cough* it instead. I did that with ME 2 just because of their ******* pre-order bonuses and DLCs. I don't like not having errythang.

Also, learn to buy cheap AWESOME indie games. They may lack in the graphics area (but I doubt you have the graphics card to play popular games on high detail anyway), but they make up for it in the fact that they are FUN.
Just ask and I'll give you a few tips on awesome indie games.

Well, I'm not really a PC gamer at all. I'm getting ME3 for 360 since I have ME1 and 2 on 360.
My laptop can play the Witcher 2 on normal settings with consistently high FPS. That's a pretty new game.
LoL is the only online game I really play on PC. Even then, if my PS3 wasn't broken I'd probably be playing Battlefield or something right now instead. :P

BECOME a PC gamer then :P
There are a ton of genuinely fun games just available for the PC.
There's really nothing good about consoles at all imo(since you can use controllers on the PC too). They just hinder development.

This is probably blasphemy to you, but I prefer controllers to mouse and keyboard. There, I said it.
I'm ****ing terrible at FPS games on PC, and also poor on RTS games.
I did play Witcher 2 using my xbox controller plugged in, but that doesn't work for a lot of games.

The only good thing I see about consoles, are that they aren't outdated as fast as PC's, unless the PC is really expensive ^^ And that you normally play on bigger screens :D
